More Recently Schools Have Become Aware Of The Benefits Of Including Muay Thai Boxing (Thai Kickboxing) Instruction Into Their Curriculum P.E. Lessons As It Is One Sport That Is Focused More On The Individual Rather Than Team Events. Therefore, Encouraging Those Students That Are Not Particularly Good At Team Sports To Improve Self-Development And Allows Them To Develop At Their Own Pace.
Currently Our Muay Thai Boxing Instructors Teach At A Range Of Primary And Secondary Schools. Schools Taught At Currently or In The Past Include: Oakworth Primary School, St. Andrew's Primary School in Keighley, Ilkley Grammar School, Upper Wharfedale School, Aireville School, Settle College, Skipton Girls High School, South Craven School, Keighley's Greenhead, Holy Family and Oakbank Secondary Schools, Lothersdale Community Primary School, Greatwood Primary School, Water Street Primary School, Bentham Community Centre And Ingleton Primary School plus many more!
Muay Thai Boxing Is Taught Either As Part Of The Curriculum P.E. Lessons Or As Extra-Curriculum Sessions For Both Boys And Girls. Any Aged Child Can Be Taught, With The Syllabus Adapted Dependent On Age. Thai Boxing sessions have also proved popular linked to Health Awareness Weeks run by various schools.
Muay Thai Boxing Is An Extremely Effective Form Of Physical Exercise And Self-Defence, As Well As About Self-Discipline, Self-Awareness, And Respect. E.g. Some Schools In The Past Have Chosen To Focus More On The Self-Defence Aspect For Girls.
