EASTBURN AMATEUR BOXING CLUB

The clubs are run by Naz Jalil a full ABAE affiliated coach with help from 4 other assistant coaches, Simon Halifax, Paul Daigneault, Neil Tomlinson and Aidan Swift.
We also have 3 other members taking the course this month, Rachael Steadman, Fiaz Suleman and Stephen Duxbury.
All our coaches are CRB checked and registered with the ABAE.

Eastburn and Bingley welcome both male and female members, wether you want to do competitive boxing or just get fit, we have help on hand to guide and support you through your training sessions.

Ambreen Sadiq is the new
ABA NATIONAL CHAMPION 2009!!!

The Bout took place on 6th June 2009 at The Boxing School of Excellence Manchester. It was the Class 3 Schools Championships. Ambreen fought in the weight category 50 – 52kg and her opponent was Bobbie Clark from Leigh Park. Ambreen won with a score of 20 to 5, which was the highest score of the day.

Whatever the intended purpose, these classes will promote and improve stamina, fitness, coordination, strength and agility.

We are very strict with our boxers in that we have a grading system. Boxers must pass a test before they spar and another before they box.
|

The clubs are run on a pay as you go basis so there are no monthly subscriptions or membership fees all we ask is you turn up and enjoy your training.

Classes Run On The Following Days And Times:
Mondays 6:00 -7:15 p.m.
Wednesdays 7:15 – 8:30 p.m.
Fridays 6:00 – 7:15 p.m.

Ambreen 'the girl boxer' was a documentry that was shown on Channel 4 on Friday, 22nd Feb 2010.
Ambreen is the only registered muslim girl to have competed in boxing and has won the National A.B.A title.
She is in the Top 3 Nominations for Sony Junior Sports Personality Of The Year (Feb 2010).
